Business Education Advising Hints

• Take MATH 2053 (or MATH 1203 if needed) early, required for Data Analysis
• Take COMM 1313 early (needs C or better), required for Business Foundations
• Take ETEC 2001 and 2002L early, required for Business Foundations
• Business Foundations (WCOB 1023), Legal Environment (WCOB 1012), Data Analysis (WCOB 1033) and Microeconomics ECON 2023, all with a "C" or better are pre-requisites for all required business classes.
• Take Praxis I after 30 hours

Miscellaneous Information

ACCT 2013 AND ACCT 2023 will equal WCOB 1023. Must have both accounting courses. An override will be needed from the business school for WCOB 1033 Data Analysis.

A business stat course (usually comes in as ISYS 199T) will count for WCOB 1033.

KINS 2393 Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries (prerequisite: BIOL 2443 and BIOL 2441L Human Anatomy) or HLSC 3633 First Responder First Aid - for Coaching endorsement

CIED 3043 Introduction to Middle Level Principles and Methods - for middle level additional licensure

CIED 3053 The Emerging Adolescent (co-requisite: CIED 3033 Classroom Learning Theory and prerequisite CIED 1011 and 1002 Introduction to Education and PSYC 2003 General Psychology) - for middle level additional licensure

HIST 3383 Arkansas and the Southwest - for middle level additional licensure
