Professional Biography:
Phil is a native of Little Rock, where he grew up listening with his dad to Razorback football games on the radio. Phil graduated from high school and attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock before joining the U.S. Air Force. Although a life-long Arkansas resident, he has lived in Texas, Colorado, Ohio and California as well as in Germany and England overseas. As a non-traditional student himself, Phil earned two Associate of Arts degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne (California), and a Master's Degree in Communication from his beloved University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He was an instructor in the Department of Communication before assuming his current position in 2001.
Job Duties:
Phil is the Human Resource Development Student Services Coordinator at the U of A in Fayetteville. His duties include recruiting new HRD undergraduate students in to the two-year rotation of weekend classes, advising them through to graduation, and coordinating the entire process among the faculty, staff, and students in Fayetteville and the dozen or so host college sites around the State.
