Personal Information:

Dr. Hinton is married to Jim Hinton, who is a University Professor of Chemistry, University of Arkansas.  They have three sons, David, who works for an Australian personnel placement company; Bob, who is the e-learning manager for an international M.B.A. program at the University of Texas-Dallas; and Thomas, who is a radiology resident at UT-Southwestern, Dallas.  Tommy’s wife, Emily, is an OB/GYN physician in Dallas.  Dr. Hinton's family are all avid scuba divers, and she has been an underwater photographer for two years.  Her photos can be seen on her webpage, behinton.com.
